Total number of
telephone on the network: there are 710,000 telephones, increase
16.4%. 16,500 Public telephone, increased 9.3%. 120 Telex machine,
decrease 7.7%
According to the Post: Up to
present, the number of internet users in Vietnam reach 113,000,
increase by 260% compare with the same period of 1999 (the total
internet users was 44,000). This is a highest growth rate in
current years.
In a latest report, the
number of internet users account for 1.26% of total national
population.
Currently, 6.8% of 346,000
residents (1.6 million people) in the suburb of the City has no
clear water, the main water source is raining water and
well-water. The number of residents user well-water is 67.7%
(234,000 residents), and 86,000 residents (26.5% of the
population) use tap-water. |
