2. Railway transportation
|
For the
time being, there are two main stations used for passengers
and goods transportation in Ho Chi Minh City located
in the last stop -point of the railway system of the
North-South unification railway. Therefore, it's convenient
in transportation goods from Ho Chi Minh City to the
Middle and Northern provinces, and vice versa. These
two stations also lead to China and the Russian Federation
.

The whole
length of river is about 200 km, connecting Ho Chi Minh
city to South Western and Eastern provinces. The city
has 4 river harbours including 6 river-lifts with total
length of 574 meters and allowing 200-1000 ton ships’
approach. Loading capacity is 1.205.000 tons.

Tan Son
Nhat is one of the country’s international largest airports.
the airport includes a conjugating system of air-station,
air field, flight managing center, technological maintaining
park. The airport’s size is 1450 ha, 6 km far from the
center of the city to the North. There are more than
30 flight route, at the airport, in which more than
20 ones are international routes to many countries in
the world. Besides Vietnam Airline, there are also a
lot of other foreign flight companies doing business
in Vietnam.
